Before booking any tattoo on the website reach me by email contact@carolinaveigas or instagram @veigastattoos with your custom proposal, size, colour and placement.

All tattoos have a non-refundable deposit. For customized ones, it's 75€.

When we've both agreed, you can pay for your session on the website.

FAQ

1. What is handpoke?
A tattoo made by hand with a needle and ink - dot by dot.
 It's an ancient method practiced for thousands of years and cultures. Aka: stick and poke, non-electric or machine-free tattooing.

2. Is it safe?
I utilize professional, single-use and sterilized tattoo materials.

3. Does it hurt?
It generally doesn't hurt as much as a machine tattoo. Allows the skin to heal more quickly, tends to be less abrasive.

4. How long does it take?
Longer than machine tattoos. I'd prefer you to take the day off to come and have a tattoo with me.

5. Where is the studio?
In Ericeira, Portugal. An 8-minute drive from the center of Ericeira and a 40-minute drive from Lisbon.

6. Why?
A unique experience to remember, no machine (you can enjoy the silence or listen to music). There are reports of it being a relaxed and meditative way of receiving a tattoo at a slower pace.
